While Kendrick Lamar was calling him out during his Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show earlier this month, Drake was busy headlining an Australian tour and gearing up to release $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, his collaborative album with PartyNextDoor that’s since hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Now, Drake is postponing the final four shows of that run in Australia and New Zealand due to “a scheduling conflict.” See the impacted tour dates below.
“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,” a representative for Drake said. “All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon. We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U came out on Valentine’s Day, renewing over a decade–long friendship between Drake and PartyNextDoor. By topping the Billboard charts with the album, PartyNextDoor celebrated his first-ever No. 1 while Drake toasted it as the 14th No. 1 of his career. Drake is now tied with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among a solo artist in the nearly 69-year history of the chart.
