J-Hope Announces New Single ‘Sweet Dreams’ With Miguel

J-Hope has his head in the clouds as he announces his latest single “Sweet Dreams,” set for release on March 7 alongside an accompanying music video. The musician previewed the record with its primary cover art, which features J-Hope cruising through the clouds in a convertible.

“A soulful blend of pop and R&B, ‘Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)’ expresses the desire to love and be loved,” a description of the record from BigHit Music reads. Miguel marks the latest artist to team up with J-Hope, joining past collaborators Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers, BTS band mate Jungkook, Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin, Gaeko, Yoon Mi-rae, J. Cole, and more.

“Sweet Dreams” marks J-Hope’s first release as a lead artist since last year’s Hope on the Street, Vol. 1 EP. Hope on the Street arrived while the musician was completing his mandatory military service in South Korea. Its release soundtracked his six-part documentary series. In January, he shared a social media post teasing “new music on the way” in March 2025.

Later this week, J-Hope will embark on his first-ever solo tour. The Hope on the Stage world tour begins Feb. 28 in Seoul and concludes in Osaka in June. J-Hope is scheduled to appear in Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, Los Angeles, Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, and Taipei over the course of the run.

Prior to enlisting in April 2023, J-Hope kicked off his solo career with the full-length LP Jack in the Box in July 2022. “It’s half nervousness, half excitement,” he told Rolling Stone at the time. “Since I’m the first one to go solo, I feel a sense of responsibility and there’s definitely some pressure as well.”
