Silvana Estrada Shares New Song “Como un Pájaro”: Listen

Silvana Estrada has shared her first new song in two years, “Como un Pájaro.” The self-produced track features an arrangement that Estrada and her band developed as a demo during a residency at El Ganzo in Los Cabos, Mexico. Roberto Verastegui composed the string arrangement, while the Fame’s Skopje Studio Orchestra in Macedonia performed it for the final recording. Give it a listen below.

Recounting the origin story of her new song, Estrada said, “I was alone at home, trying to get over a heartbreak, and, at night, I suffered from terrible insomnia. I was just starting to play the guitar, so I would practice to see if sleep would eventually come and allow me to rest. Out of that silence and solitude—feeling like the only person awake in a sleeping city—this song was born.”

“Como un Pájaro” is the first new music Estrada has shared since dropping the singles “Qué Problema” and “Milago y Desastre” in 2023. The Mexican singer-songwriter’s last studio album, Marchita, came out in 2022.
