One of the stars of Landman<\/a><\/em> once fought Beyonce<\/a> and we’re not talking about an argument. This was an award-winning, knock-down brawl that didn’t end well.<\/p>\n OK, technically “Lisa” fought “Sharon” as “Derek” rushed to get home. Of course the police arrived just a little too late to break it all up.<\/p>\n Related<\/strong><\/em>:\u00a0Will There Be Season 2 of Landman<\/em>? Everything We Know<\/a><\/p>\n Landman<\/em> fans know Ali Larter’s Angela as the impulsive wife to Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris. She’s umm … high maintenance? Angela\u00a0definitely likes to be the center of attention and she goes after what she wants.<\/p>\n That’s true of Larter’s characters in at least two other movies: Varsity Blues<\/em> (we broke down her whip cream scene here<\/a>) and Obsessed<\/em>.<\/p>\n Quick summary of Obsessed<\/em>: Derek (Elba) and Sharon (Bey) are married but a temp named Lisa (Larter) develops feelings for him and it becomes a Fatal Attraction<\/em> kind of thing. The movie ends at the couple’s home, where Beyonce’s character discovers Lisa laying rose petals on their bed in anticipation of some kind of fierce lovemaking session with Sharon’s man.<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 says that’s not gonna happen. They start to fight and across two lengthy scenes (totaling north of 10 minutes long) they swing lamps, lumber and fists toward one another.<\/p>\n “I’m gonna wipe the floor with your little skinny a–,” Beyonc\u00e9’s Sharon says. Here’s Part 1:<\/p>\n Somehow, Larter’s character ends up in the attic and another fight begins. Wearing high heeled boots, Sharon holds off her attacker while balancing on ceiling joists. Eventually Lisa falls through the ceiling but wait \u2014 Sharon doesn’t want to kill her. She actually tries to pull her up.<\/p>\n Then\u00a0Lisa tries to pull the home’s owner through the hole so Sharon let’s go. The fall isn’t enough to kill her. Just as it seems Lisa is getting up for Round 3,\u00a0a fatal blow is delivered by the most unexpected source. Watch for yourself.<\/p>\n It’s not a great movie and the fight choreography is just so-so. It was popular, however. The film grossed over $70 million at the box office and this fight won the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight in 2010, topping fight scenes from movies like Avatar, Sherlock Holmes<\/em> and X-Men Origins: Wolverine<\/em>.<\/p>\n Season 1 of Landman<\/em> wraps on Jan. 12. As far as we know, Larter’s Angela hasn’t had to brawl yet, but it’s clear she’s got it in her.<\/p>\n Ali Larter says she wanted the role of Angela Norris on Landman<\/em> because the character is so colorful.
