In an interview with People<\/em><\/a>, the R&B star said that working with Grande on \u201cThe Boy Is Mine,\u201d and reconnecting with Brandy, was \u201cnothing short of a blessing.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI love the fact that she did not try to remake it in the form that both Brandy and I made it in, but she created something that\u2019s her own and she used nostalgic moments from the record,\u201d Monica said. \u201cThat\u2019s what made it such a no-brainer for me because it felt good.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBrandy, who also spoke with People, <\/em>described Grande as a \u201ckind and talented soul,\u201d adding that she and the Eternal Sunshine <\/em>singer \u201cjust hit it off\u201d right away. \u201cThere is no one that does what she does with more grace and appreciation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
