Liam lived wide-open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStyles called his former bandmate \u201cwarm, supportive and incredibly loving,\u201d further stating that his \u201cheart breaks\u201d for Payne\u2019s parents, siblings and his son, Bear.<\/p>\n \n\t \u201cThe years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life,\u201d Styles wrote. \u201cI will miss him always, my lovely friend.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe band itself shared a statement earlier Thursday, saying that they are \u201ccompletely devastated by the news of Liam\u2019s passing. \u201cIn time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,\u201d One Direction said<\/a>. \u201cBut for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever.
