The 2025 Academy Awards<\/a> are today in Hollywood, California. Along with the biggest stars in film, many notable musicians are taking in the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre. Expected in attendance are Wicked<\/em><\/a> stars and renowned singers Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, newly trained singers Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Monica Barbaro, Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em>\u2019s Selena Gomez, and plenty more. Below, see photos from the Oscars red carpet.<\/p>\n Three musically inclined films are up for Best Picture<\/a>: the film adaptation of the Wicked<\/em> musical, the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown<\/em><\/a>, and the Spanish-language musical Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em>. Also nominated in the category is The Brutalist<\/em><\/a>, which was scored by Daniel Blumberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n Blumberg is looking to win the Academy Award for Best Original Score<\/a>. He\u2019s going up against 2023\u2019s winner<\/a>, Volker Bertelmann, who scored the papal drama Conclave<\/em>, along with Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em>\u2019s Cl\u00e9ment Ducol and Camille, The Wild Robot<\/em>\u2019s Kris Bowers, and Wicked<\/em>\u2019s John Powell and Stephen Schwartz.<\/p>\n The Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em> musicians, Ducol and Camille, have a lot of opportunities to win an Academy Award tonight, as they are also nominated for Best Original Song<\/a>. They wrote two of the nominees\u2014\u201cEl Mal\u201d and \u201cMi Camino\u201d\u2014in the five-song category.
