\n\tDays after Zayn Malik<\/a> postponed<\/a> his first-ever solo U.S. tour due to the \u201cheartbreaking loss\u201d of Liam Payne<\/a>, the former One Direction singer revealed the rescheduled shows.<\/p>\n \n\tMalik\u2019s Stairway to the Sky Tour was scheduled to begin this week, but following Payne\u2019s death<\/a>, the shows have been pushed to the new year, starting Jan. 21 at Washington, D.C.\u2019s the Anthem. The rest of the tour remains intact, with all previous dates \u2014 stops in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco \u2014 now taking place in January and February 2025.<\/p>\n \n\tThis weekend, Malik announced on social media that he was postponing his first-ever solo U.S. jaunt \u201cgiven the heartbreaking loss experienced this week,\u201d but promised the rescheduled shows would be mapped soon.<\/p>\n \n\tFollowing Payne\u2019s Oct. 16 death from injuries sustained after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony, Malik \u2014\u00a0as well as his former 1D bandmates<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0remembered<\/a>\u00a0the singer in a lengthy statement.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLiam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can\u2019t help but think selfishly that there were so many more conversations for us to have in our lives,\u201d Malik wrote. \u201cI never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life. When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cEven though you were younger than me you were always more sensible than me, you were headstrong, opinionated, and gave no fucks about telling people when they were wrong,\u201d Malik added. \u201cEven though we butted heads because of this a few times, I always secretly respected you for it.\u201d<\/p>\n
