\n\tLindsay Lohan<\/a> will show off her singing chops in Freakier Friday<\/em>. I<\/a>n a new cover story interview for Elle<\/a><\/em>, Lindsay Lohan spoke to Saturday Night Live<\/em>\u2018s Chloe Fineman about reprising her role as Anna Coleman \u2014 and what it was like to sing again.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt was good. Well, it was kind of nerve-racking at first, because I\u2019m not singing as me,\u201d Lohan said. \u201cWhen I was doing [Freaky Friday<\/em>], I was also recording an album, so it was part of my life at the time. In this movie, I was singing it as [my character] Anna, whereas before felt more like Lindsay singing.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLohan said the \u201cwhole band\u201d came back together to make new music for the sequel. She even joked with one of her returning co-stars, \u201cHow weird is this? Are we still cool?\u201d as a reference to how much their lives have changed, especially since both are now mothers.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves,\u201d she added. \u201cWe make it important. But also, once you have one kid, you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLohan described the process of reconnecting with Jamie Lee Curtis for the film as \u201ceasygoing\u201d as well. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI feel like everything felt at ease when we were making it, and I feel that\u2019s the best way to describe how I felt when I watched it. It felt easy and fun, and fresh at the same time,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s not a lot bringing me to the movie theaters personally right now. [Freakier Friday<\/em>] is a feel-good movie, which is what I want to give people. And it\u2019s fun.\u201d <\/p>\n
