In November, Variety<\/em><\/a> reported that Lady Gaga<\/a> would make a cameo in the second season of Netflix\u2019s original series Wednesday<\/em>. Now the pop star\u2019s role has officially been confirmed following her appearance at the streamer\u2019s Tudum 2025 event last night, May 31. Lady Gaga will play Rosaline Rotwood, described as \u201ca legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday,\u201d though her character won\u2019t appear until the season\u2019s second half releases on September 3. The first half of Wednesday<\/em> Season 2 is out August 6. Scroll down for an extended clip from the premiere episode, which features Jenna Ortega in the titular role and Haley Joe Osment as a serial killer called the Kansas City Scalper.<\/p>\n After the release of Wednesday<\/em>\u2019s first season in 2022, a sped-up remix of Lady Gaga\u2019s Born This Way<\/em><\/a> single \u201cBloody Mary\u201d became a viral hit as part of a TikTok trend in which users would recreate Ortega\u2019s \u201cWednesday Dance<\/a>.\u201d (The original scene was soundtracked by the Cramps<\/a>\u2019 \u201cGoo Goo Muck.\u201d) At Tudum, Lady Gaga was the evening\u2019s closing act, performing her single \u201cAbracadabra\u201d and \u201cZombieboy\u201d from her new album Mayhem<\/em><\/a>. Both renditions incorporated portions of the original Addams Family<\/em> theme song.
