Once signed to Burna Boy\u2019s Spaceship Records, Bnxn has also made big moves as a frontman, with his debut album, <em>Sincerely Benson<\/em>, in 2023 and the stellar EP <em>Bad Since \u201897 <\/em>the year prior. Still, he\u2019s perhaps best known as a collaborator and not a solo star.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tNow, with his second album <em>Captain<\/em>, out today, Bnxn tells <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>, \u201cThe album itself represents growth. It shows that I\u2019m skilled and I\u2019m a crucial player in this field. In the ocean of the industry, I\u2019m rocking a ship and I\u2019m in total control of it. In good storms and bad storms, I\u2019m still in charge.\u201d He\u2019s most proud of the titular track. \u201cIt was one of the songs I recorded last minute. The latter group joins him for the final track, \u201cIn Jesus Name.\u201d \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of emotion that went into that,\u201d Bnxn says, naming it the album\u2019s most sentimental for him. \u201cThey were able to bring out the spiritual feel I needed from the record.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBnxn will take <em>Captain<\/em> on the road with a North American tour in August, hitting cities like Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Dallas, and Vancouver.
