The musician and actor hasn’t appeared in a role since 2022, but says he would return for the right role<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\tDylan Minnette<\/a> has spent more time on stage than on set over the past four years, but the musician isn\u2019t closing the door on his acting career. During a recent appearance on the podcast Therapuss<\/a><\/em>, the 28-year-old addressed rumors that his focus has shifted away from film and television to solely prioritize his band Wallows<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI think there was a weird narrative that\u2019s gone around that I quit acting, but I never felt that or said that,\u201d Minnette said. \u201cI feel like I\u2019ve had a desire to do it again in some regard, and if the right thing comes along, then the right thing comes along.\u201d His most recent roles include an appearance in Scream <\/em>and the Hulu series The Dropout<\/em>, both released in 2022.<\/p>\n \n\tWallows guitarist Braeden Lemasters also comes from an acting background. Like Minnette, his latest television appearances have come from performances on the late-night circuit, including stops at The Tonight Show <\/em>and Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em>. Around 2010, Lemasters appeared on the TNT series Men of a Certain Age<\/em>. Minnette and drummer Cole Preston also briefly featured on the show.<\/p>\n
