After the crowd practiced their howls, Carpenter said, \u201cI also thought it might be fun if I brought out some friends of mine from the U.K. I\u2019m going to need you guys to put that howling to good use. It\u2019s the follow-up to 2024\u2019s <em>Short n\u2019 Sweet, <\/em>the album on which she\u2019s still currently touring. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sabrina-carpenter-short-n-sweet-tour-2025-north-america-dates-1235281659\/\">second leg<\/a> of her North American tour runs through November. In her July-August <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/sabrina-carpenter-new-album-mans-best-friend-fame-1235359144\/\">cover story for <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, she explained why she didn\u2019t want to wait long between album cycles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cIf I really wanted to, I could have stretched out\u00a0<em>Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/em>\u00a0much, much longer,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I\u2019m at that point in my life where I\u2019m like, \u2018Wait a second, there\u2019s no rules.\u2019 If I\u2019m inspired to write and make something new, I would rather do that. Why would I wait three years just for the sake of waiting three years? It\u2019s all about what feels right.
