A short tour of the U.K. and Europe will follow in November.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tTickets for all shows will go on sale this Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. local time, while pre-sale tickets will be available starting July 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Supporting acts for the Rapture\u2019s upcoming shows will be announced at a later date. I\u2019ve already chased the dream and lived the highs and lows of it. Now, music is no longer about proving anything \u2014 it\u2019s about reaching people who feel lost, like I once did, and letting them know they\u2019re not alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Rapture formed in the late-Nineties and quickly emerged as a unique force in the New York City <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/early-2000s-nyc-rock-history-meet-me-in-the-bathroom-10-things-we-learned-116678\/\">underground milieu of the early-2000s<\/a>. Their 2002 single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-lists\/200-greatest-dance-songs-of-all-time-1372888\/the-rapture-house-of-jealous-lovers-2002-1372963\/\">\u201cHouse of Jealous Lovers\u201d<\/a> became a signature song of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv-movies\/tv-movie-features\/meet-me-in-the-bathroom-documentary-interview-1234621231\/\">Meet Me in the Bathroom<\/a> <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/how-meet-me-in-the-bathroom-chronicles-a-bygone-era-of-new-york-rock-118628\/\">era<\/a>, and they released three albums \u2014 2003\u2019s <em>Echoes<\/em>, 2006\u2019s <em>Pieces of the People We Love<\/em>, and 2011\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/in-the-grace-of-your-love-252536\/\">In the Grace of Your Love<\/a><\/em> \u2014 before splitting in 2014.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Rapture previously reunited in 2019, playing several one-off shows and festival gigs throughout the year. More shows were planned for 2020, but those were eventually canceled because of the pandemic.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tSpeaking about his time away from music during the Rapture\u2019s down years, Jenner says he \u201cneeded to heal and reconnect \u2014 with myself, my family, and a true sense of purpose that wasn\u2019t tied to applause or external validation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe adds, \u201cAfter my mother\u2019s death, my son\u2019s birth, and years of touring, I realized I couldn\u2019t keep running. Singing on stage had convinced me that success was about being seen \u2014 celebrated even \u2014 but deep down I craved something more grounded.
