In an exclusive video for <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>, the country star shared a heartfelt send-off to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/ozzy-osbourne\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ozzy-osbourne\" data-tag=\"ozzy-osbourne\">Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>, who performed his final concert of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/black-sabbath\/\" id=\"auto-tag_black-sabbath\" data-tag=\"black-sabbath\">Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-live-reviews\/ozzy-osbourne-black-sabbath-back-to-the-beginning-concert-1235379405\/\">Back to the Beginning <\/a>farewell performance run this past weekend. Parton\u2019s video message played on screens in between sets at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI know you\u2019re at home and what a wonderful place to be, right? Now, are we supposed to be saying farewell to you? Well, I don\u2019t think that\u2019s going to happen,\u201d Parton said. \u201cHow about we just say good luck, God bless you, and we will see you somewhere down the road. Anyway, I love you, always have. And we\u2019re gonna miss you up on stage, but you know what? I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if you don\u2019t show up somewhere else \u2014 and I\u2019ll be there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tA heavy metal show isn\u2019t an unlikely place for Parton to find herself. Last month, the singer appeared on M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-country\/dolly-parton-motley-crues-new-home-sweet-home-1235368838\/\">\u201cHome Sweet Home,\u201d <\/a>reimagined as a duet for their upcoming singles collection <em>From the Beginning<\/em>, out in September. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBack to the Beginning, a charity concert, brought together the original Black Sabbath lineup, including Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward. Earlier this year, Iommi told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2025\/may\/02\/i-dont-want-to-die-in-a-hotel-room-somewhere-black-sabbath-on-reconciling-for-their-final-gig-and-how-ozzy-is-living-through-hell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><em>The Guardian<\/em>,<\/a> \u201cI\u2019m the one that said, \u2018I don\u2019t know if we should do it\u2019, because we did a farewell tour and I didn\u2019t want to get into that thing like all the other bands are doing, saying it\u2019s the last tour and then reappearing again. Sharon could see that I was in Doom Town, and she says to me, \u2018I\u2019ve got an idea.\u2019 It was something to give me a reason to get up in the morning. I thought: Oh, fucking hell, she\u2019s got an idea.
