\n\tBrooklyn rock outfit Geese<\/a> have officially confirmed their return with a new song \u201cTaxes,\u201d that\u2019ll appear on their upcoming album, Getting Killed<\/em>, out Sept. 26 via Partisan Records.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTaxes\u201d feels like a bit of a bridge between frontman Cameron Winter\u2019s acclaimed solo record, Heavy Metal<\/em><\/a>, and what Geese have cooked up together for Getting Killed<\/em>. The track begins with Winter\u2019s distinct vocals warbling and wobbling over a tender percussion groove. More instruments start to sift in, and then, halfway through, the song erupts with a bright burst of guitars: \u201cDoctor, doctor, heal yourself,\u201d Winter yelps, \u201cAnd I will break my own heart\/I will break my own heart from now on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAccompanying \u201cTaxes\u201d is a new music video, which begins with a camera pushing its way through a packed crowd at a Geese concert. Once it\u2019s set, however, the song hits that midpoint launch, and the visuals take off with it, careening into a kaleidoscopic burst of moshing, shredding, and seemingly unfettered euphoria that quickly descends into strange violence and cannibalistic chaos.\u00a0<\/p>\n
