With their return, the British band are tapping into the ideas from their 2006 hit single \u201cOver and Over\u201d for a new compilation, <em>Joy In Repetition<\/em>, out Sept. 5 via Domino. The \u201cbest of\u201d project will feature a range of gems from their seven-album discography, including \u201cReady For The Floor,\u201d \u201cI Feel Better,\u201d \u201cFlutes,\u201d \u201cOver and Over,\u201d \u201cBoy From School,\u201d \u201cLook At Where We Are\u201d and \u201cMelody of Love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tEven as Hot Chip revisit their classic material, they\u2019re still charting new ground. Accompanying the compilation announcement, the band has shared the electro-rock track \u201cDevotion,\u201d which marks their first new music since the 2022 LP <em>Freakout\/Release<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cDevotion\u201d also arrives with a music video, directed by Will Kindrick and filmed in Japan.
