Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers selected four songs from the record, out Friday, July 11, to showcase their latest era alongside guitarist Joshua Mobaraki, bassist Ellis Durand, and drummer Henry Holmes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tWet Leg opened the set with \u201cCPR,\u201d a dark and twisted love song where Teasdale panic calls the authorities. Her emergency? \u201cThe thing is, I think I\u2019m in love.\u201d The band followed with the unreleased track \u201cMangetout\u201d and their recent single \u201cDavina McCall.\u201d The final song of their performance marked the live debut of \u201c11:21,\u201d an outlier ballad in their discography. For now, they\u2019re focused on the future. \u201cAn album is like a snapshot, and you can set your intention,\u201d Chambers told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/wet-leg-grammys-2023-preview-sexism-1234607351\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a> <\/em>in 2022. \u201cIf you just want it to be, \u2018This is what\u2019s bringing us joy at the moment,\u2019 that\u2019s valid \u2014 or if you want to make sure it\u2019s something, in your mind, that\u2019s perfect, it takes a lot longer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn a review of <em>Moisturizer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/wet-leg-moisturizer-review-1235381579\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a> <\/em>wrote: \u201cOn their second album, <em>Moisturizer<\/em>, Wet Leg prove they\u2019ve been partying harder, traveling faster, caring less, and meeting sexier idiots. If you thought they might catch a case of sophomore-slump neurosis, you guessed wrong. They crank up the drum mix, enough to make you suspect they hang out in some pretty sleazy rock clubs these days, for a sound that\u2019s aimed at the floor \u2026 The emotions on <em>Moisturizer<\/em> range from crushed-out bliss to break-up rage.
