\n\tThis fall, Yusuf<\/a>\/Cat Stevens<\/a> will release his long-awaited memoir<\/a>, Cat on the Road to Findout<\/em>, paired with a North American book tour. Now, he\u2019s announced an accompanying greatest hits compilation, out Sept. 5.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the Road to Findout: Greatest Hits <\/em>marks the singer-songwriter\u2019s first career-spanning compilation, containing tracks across the last six decades. It contains material from his 1967 debut, Matthew & Son<\/em> (including \u201cI Love My Dog\u201d), and extends all the way to 2023\u2019s King of a Land<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m pleased that, at last, a collection of recordings includes some important songs I wrote after my evolvement, \u2018Take The World Apart\u2019 and \u2018Heaven\/Where True Love Goes\u2019 for instance, reflecting the peace and happiness which has since changed my life,\u201d he said in a statement. \u201cThank you, one and all. It\u2019s really humbling to think about how many souls have been traversing this journey with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe compilation will arrive in a variety<\/a> of formats and lengths. A single CD and 2-LP set will be available, as well as expanded editions spanning 2 CDs and 4 LPs.<\/p>\n

\n\tYusuf will release his memoir in the U.K. on Sept. 18 and in North America on Oct. 7. He\u2019ll tour the U.K. in September, discussing the project and performing several of his beloved songs. He\u2019ll bring the tour to North America on Oct. 2, his first time performing in the U.S. since 2016.<\/p>\n
