\n\tBenny Blanco<\/a> and Selena Gomez<\/a> aren\u2019t rushing to the altar. During a recent appearance on the podcast Therapuss<\/a><\/em>, the producer and songwriter detailed the busy schedules that have been keeping them from focusing on planning their wedding. \u201cWe both need to chill. We\u2019ve both been working so much,\u201d Blanco said about why they haven\u2019t started the process yet. <\/p>\n \n\tEarlier this year, Blanco and Gomez released their collaborative album I Said I Love You First<\/em><\/em>, which required an entire promotional cycle that pulled them away from planning. \u201cWe got engaged and then we were filming music videos for our album, then it\u2019s holidays, then right after the holidays we had to start all the promo for our stuff,\u201d Blanco said. \u201cThen she left to film her show, Only Murders<\/em>. Then I met her, we hung out for a week, and right after that, it\u2019s promo. Then I had to write a book, and she came back for one day here, and then it was my birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWhen the couple does get a chance to slow down, their mind doesn\u2019t immediately drift to color palettes, flower arrangements, and venue options. \u201cI just want to lay in bed and forget what day it is. We\u2019ve been in bed just watching stuff,\u201d Blanco said. It\u2019s not how he usually unwinds, he added, \u201cbut with Selena, I can do it all day. She makes me want to hang out and cuddle, just watch things, just eat food, and have piles of food around us and have the best time ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
