Dan Deacon<\/a> performed the national anthem ahead of the Baltimore Orioles\u2019 game against the New York Mets on Thursday, July 10. The Baltimore artist\u2019s unique electronic rendition of \u201cThe Star-Spangled Banner\u201d proved to be motivational for his hometown team, as the Orioles defeated<\/a> the Mets 7-3. Deacon has not released a traditional studio album since 2020\u2019s Mystic Familiar<\/em><\/a>. He\u2019s mostly stayed busy scoring films and television programs and releasing soundtrack albums. His most recent soundtrack album, for Venom: The Last Dance<\/em><\/a>, arrived in October.<\/p>\n
