Kane Brown<\/a> is a big basketball fan, so when he crossed paths with the GOAT, Michael Jordan, on the golf course,\u00a0he was ecstatic.<\/p>\n Brown told the story\u00a0during a chat with\u00a0Country Countdown USA<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0recalling the time he played golf at Michael Jordan’s golf course and the unthinkable happened.<\/p>\n “I was out there golfing, and Michael Jordan was out driving his own golf cart,” the\u00a0country singer shares. “He\u2019s smoking a cigar, pulls up to me, says, \u2018What\u2019s up, Kane?\u2019”<\/p>\n Brown says he’s a frequent golfer at Jordan’s place \u2014\u00a0“It\u2019s an annual trip for me to go there” \u2014 but this is the first time he’s ever been in the sports legend’s presence.<\/p>\n What happened next will likely be burned into Brown’s memory forever. <\/span><\/p>\n Brown\u00a0explains that Jordan then got\u00a0out of his golf cart to come over and shake his hand, and that he (Brown) felt “<\/span>like the coolest guy on the planet.” <\/span><\/p>\n “Then he drives off,” he says.<\/span><\/p>\n It was a core memory even for a big celebrity like Brown, and a story he’ll tell his kids someday.<\/p>\n Actually, Brown\u00a0does have a\u00a0full-size basketball court\u00a0at his house<\/a>, so maybe he can invite Jordan over for a one-on-one now that they’re buddies on a first-name basis?<\/p>\n The country singer further\u00a0tells\u00a0Taste of Country Nights<\/em><\/a> that he has been golfing a lot more lately and has been trying to step his game up. When we asked him if he could take on his pal Jason Aldean<\/a>, Brown challenged that he would “take on Aldean at golf any day.”<\/p>\n Kane Brown has built himself quite the career: He’s come a long way since 2015, when he released his first single, “Used to Love You Sober.” Prior to that, Brown was covering other country stars’ songs for social media. Now, he<\/em> is a star, with nine No. 1 hits under his belt, including a special duet with his wife Katelyn.
