\n\tGeorge Strait<\/a> has announced an intimate concert event in central Texas to benefit<\/a> those impacted by the devastating floods in the state<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe country legend and native Texan will take the stage at Boerne, Texas\u2019 indoor arena on July 27 for the \u201cStrait to the Heart\u201d event, which is capped at 1,000 guests due to the venue\u2019s limited capacity.<\/p>\n \n\tStrait will be joined by members of his Ace in the Hole Band at the dinner and concert, with William Beckmann, Asleep at the Wheel\u2019s Ray Benson, Wade Bowen, Dean Dillon, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Kyle Park, and Hudson Westbrook among the event\u2019s special guests.<\/p>\n \n\tAt least 100 people died, including more than two dozen campers and counselors from an all-girls Christian summer camp, in the floods<\/a> that swept through central\u00a0Texas over the July 4 weekend.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe destruction and loss in our community from the recent flood is hard to wrap your head around,\u201d Strait said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
