\n\tBritney Spears<\/a> sent her fans into a frenzy when she wrote that she had adopted a \u201cbeautiful baby girl\u201d on Instagram. However, Rolling Stone<\/em> can confirm that she didn\u2019t actually<\/em> add a new baby to the family and was simply joking around on her Instagram.<\/p>\n

\n\tCaptioning a video of herself dancing, Spears wrote<\/a>, \u201cI want to let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl \ud83d\ude09\ud83d\ude09\ud83d\ude09 !!! Her name is Lennon London Spears \ud83e\udd2a\ud83e\udd2a\ud83e\udd2a !!!\u201d (The emoji choices from the pop queen may have been a good indicator that she wasn\u2019t serious.)<\/p>\n

\n\tLater in her post, Spears said the imaginary child was wearing an \u201cadorable dress,\u201d before adding a trio of \u201c\ud83e\udd2a\u201d emojis.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpears is a mother of two, and shares her sons \u2014 20-year-old Sean and 18-year-old Jayden \u2014 with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. While the addition of a new child to the family isn\u2019t true, Spears has been spending more time with her kids after initially losing custody and being estranged for several years as she battled her conservatorship.<\/p>\n
