She specifically noted that it\u2019s \u201creally hard to maintain sobriety when you\u2019re on the road, which is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/miley-cyrus-plastic-hearts-cover-story-1097528\/\">really important pillar<\/a> of stability in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAnd Cyrus discussed the mental toll that touring can take: \u201cNone of this that I create would ever be possible without the way that I think about things. And I do think it\u2019s really hard to keep mental wellness [while touring]. You have so many thousands of people screaming at you, so [there\u2019s] dopamine, you\u2019re feeling a lot of love and then you totally crash at the end of the show. You start thinking that one person loving you is not enough; it needs to be 10,000, it needs to be 80,000.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tCyrus\u2019 statements to <em>GMA <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/miley-cyrus-no-tour-plans-1234739233\/\">echo the ones she made during her last album cycle<\/a> following the release of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/miley-cyrus-sendless-summer-vacation-1234692905\/\">Endless Summer Vacation<\/a> <\/em>in 2023. Speaking with <em>Vogue UK<\/em> at the time, Cyrus reflected on her last headlining trek, the 2014 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/bangerz-118705\/\">Bangerz<\/a> <\/em>tour, saying, \u201cAfter the last [headline arena] show I did, I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can\u2019t. Not only can\u2019t, because can\u2019t is your capability, but my desire. Just last month, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/beyonce-miley-cyrus-ii-most-wanted-cowboy-carter-tour-1235368376\/\">took the stage with Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> in Paris to perform their <em>Cowboy Carter<\/em> collaboration, \u201cII Most Wanted,\u201d live for the first time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cWhen you\u2019re standing behind her, you can actually feel her desire and her passion,\u201d Cyrus said of Beyonc\u00e9 on <em>GMA<\/em>. \u201cThat to me is a win. It\u2019s not a trophy. It\u2019s not something physical that you hold or put on a shelf.
