These musicians come out for several days of panel discussions, showcases, and concerts, and they represent every corner of the industry: there are major stars, independent acts, brand new talent. The latter tend to be the best part of every conference, reminding the industry that there are a ton of artists waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThere was no shortage of unique, genre-defying music at this year\u2019s LAMC. From the anarchic sounds of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-pictures\/morat-camilo-summerstage-1235382623\/\">Planta Industrial\u2019s<\/a> deathcore dembow to singer ANDRE\u2019s baroque take on Peruvian tradition, here\u2019s the best of what we found after attending this year.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"planta-industrial\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tPlanta Industrial\u00a0\t<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Planta Industrial - Anormales | A COLORS ENCORE\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g47f5vgRIxA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThough Saso and AKA the Darknight knew each other from high school, they had each navigated different parts of the music scene doing their own thing. Something magic happened, however, when they joined forces to form <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/planta-industrial\/\" id=\"auto-tag_planta-industrial\" data-tag=\"planta-industrial\">Planta Industrial<\/a> and a Colors set featuring songs like \u201cAnormales\u201d and \u201cOi\u201d quickly for them noticed. Their wildly liberated sound, which mixes punk and dembow and rap, doesn\u2019t sound like anyone else out there.\u00a0In addition to opening for Morat at the SummerStage show LAMC curated, the guys were also recipients of LAMC\u2019s 2025 Discovery Award Winner.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"gera-demara\" class=\"heading larva \/\/   lrv-a-font-primary-l   \">\n\t\tGera Demara\t<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Gera Demara - ARDER (Official Video)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MFwP5dlEtFY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tRaised between Baja California and the U.S., Gera Demara has a slightly different take that lands somewhere between m\u00fasica\u00a0mexicana, pop, and R&amp;B. The recent Warner signee has kept a fairly low profile, despite collabs with major acts like CNCO. Her latest project <em>Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n: The Baroque Edition <\/em>extends her debut and continues to explore ideas of folk roots and memory, with some songs that toggle between Spanish and Quechua.
