Carly Rae Jepsen<\/a> has announced an intimate concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of her beloved third album, E\u2022mo\u2022tion<\/em><\/a>. She will perform the record front-to-back on Tuesday, August 19, at legendary West Hollywood venue the Troubadour<\/a>.<\/p>\n On social media, Jepsen wrote<\/a>, \u201cHow to celebrate 10 years of EMOTION? A one night only intimate club show where it all began, that\u2019s how!\u201d She also told fans that there will be \u201csome extra special guests and surprises\u201d and instructed them to \u201cdress the hell up! It\u2019s a PARTY.\u201d<\/p>\n By the time she released E\u2022mo\u2022tion<\/em>, Jepsen had already achieved commercial success, thanks to her colossal Kiss<\/em> hit \u201cCall Me Maybe.\u201d The 2015 album instead represented a critical breakthrough for the Canadian singer, who was lauded for the sophisticated pop of tracks like \u201cRun Away With Me,\u201d \u201cWarm Blood,\u201d \u201cEmotion,\u201d and more. Jepsen worked on E\u2022mo\u2022tion<\/em> with Sia, Devont\u00e9 Hynes, Rostam Batmanglij, Haim, Ariel Rechtshaid, and others.<\/p>\n Jepsen\u2019s most recent studio album, The Loveliest Time<\/em><\/a>, landed in 2023, completing a diptych with 2022\u2019s The Loneliest Time<\/em><\/a>. Aside from celebrating a decade of E\u2022mo\u2022tion<\/em>, Jepsen is also working on an upcoming 10 Things I Hate About You<\/em> musical<\/a> for Broadway alongside Lena Dunham.<\/p>\n
