Devont\u00e9 Hynes<\/a> has officially announced Essex Honey<\/em><\/a>, his first Blood Orange<\/a> studio album since 2018. Hynes wrote, produced, and recorded his follow-up to Negro Swan<\/em><\/a>, and he got contributions from: Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates, Tariq Al-Sabir, Ian Isiah, Tirzah, Eva Tolkin, Wet singer Kelly Zutrau, Liam Benzvi, Amandla Stenberg, Naomi Scott, and acclaimed author Zadie Smith.<\/p>\n To go along with the album announcement, Hynes has shared two new songs: \u201cSomewhere in Between<\/a>\u201d and \u201cMind Loaded<\/a>,\u201d the latter of which features Caroline Polachek, Lorde, and Mustafa. It follows Hynes\u2019 recent work on Lorde<\/a> and Turnstile<\/a>\u2019s respective new albums. He recently shared his album\u2019s first single, \u201cThe Field<\/a>,\u201d and announced<\/a> a tour.<\/p>\n Since Negro Swan<\/em>, Hynes has released the mixtape Angel\u2019s Pulse<\/em><\/a> and an EP called Four Songs<\/em><\/a>. He\u2019s also shared several soundtrack albums, including ones for Mainstream<\/em><\/a>, In Treatment<\/em><\/a>, and Master Gardener<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
