Last year, the pair scored Luca Guadagnino\u2019s <em>Queer<\/em> and crafted an alluring, techno-driven soundtrack for his tennis throuple film <em>Challengers<\/em>. They will join him again on his upcoming film <em>After the Hunt<\/em>, out in October. Reznor and Ross also created music for the Apple TV+ film <em>The Gorge<\/em>, released earlier this year. Each of these projects was credited to the musicians by their own names, rather than Nine Inch Nails. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tReznor and Ross have composed dozens of scores across film and television and have previously won Oscars for their work on <em>The Social Network and Soul<\/em>. In 2020, Disney\u2019s President of Music &amp; Soundtracks, Mitchell Leib, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lightthefusepodcast.com\/103-mitchell-leib-interview-part-2\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">expressed interest<\/a> in having the duo return for the upcoming sequel. Leib retired later that year, just two months before Daft Punk announced they would be breaking up after 28 years. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLast month, Nine Inch Nails <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/nine-inch-nails-perform-live-rarities-tour-kickoff-dublin-1235365343\/\">kicked off<\/a> their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/nine-inch-nails-peel-it-back-tour-dates-1235243374\/\">Peel It Back Tour<\/a>, their first tour in three years, with a setlist full of songs they haven\u2019t played live in a decade or more. Reznor performed \u201cRight Where It Belongs\u201d solo on the piano, marking the first performance of the record since 2009.
