\n\tNowhere, the old Lady Gaga<\/a> is going nowhere! On Wednesday night, Gaga opened her Mayhem Ball tour<\/a> in Las Vegas \u2014 and while she celebrated her latest project on the setlist, she also made way for several deep cuts, including \u201cSummerboy,\u201d which she hadn\u2019t performed in 18 years.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cSummerboy\u201d performance saw Gaga playing the <\/em>Fame<\/em> song<\/a> on guitar while surrounded by dancers in what seemed like a heated summer club setting. She snuck the track later in the show after debuting the Mayhem<\/em> bonus song \u201cKill for Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe only other time Gaga had performed \u201cSummerboy<\/a>\u201d before Wednesday night\u2019s Mayhem Ball show was during a performance at Lollapalooza<\/a> in 2007, where she played the song in panties and black stockings. It was well before her first single, \u201cJust Dance,\u201d and her album The Fame<\/em>, which came in 2008.<\/p>\n

\n\tMany moments of nostalgia were sprinkled throughout Gaga\u2019s Mayhem Ball set. Early in the show, she performed \u201cAura\u201d from Artpop<\/a><\/em>, and revisited the album with a shortened rendition of its single \u201cApplause,\u201d which she hadn\u2019t played since 2020. The concert also included Joanne<\/em>\u2018s \u201cMillion Reasons\u201d and a new version of \u201cJust Dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThank you for all the ways you\u2019ve made me so strong for so long. Thank you for being such a wonderful community I can rely on and come here to be myself,\u201d Gaga said at one moment during the show. \u201cYou have shown me so much love and grace. You\u2019ve given me so much opportunity\u2026 Before I came onstage, I couldn\u2019t even believe that you were all here for me and that this was my show.\u201d<\/p>\n
