\n\tMariah Carey<\/a> is getting ready to reveal details about \u201cMC16\u201d \u2014 presumably her long-awaited follow-up album to 2018\u2019s Caution<\/em> \u2014 and the intel will arrive tomorrow, July 21. She teased the coming news on social media over the weekend.<\/p>\n \n\tOn Sunday, the pop star posted a video montage of every one of her album covers, beginning with MC1, her eponymous debut LP, on through MC15 a.k.a. Caution<\/em>, while clips of her singing a cappella served as the soundtrack. The video ends on an empty box where the presumable upcoming cover would be, with the text \u201cMC16\u201d appearing beneath it. Underneath the montage on social platform X<\/a>, it reads \u201cMC16 \u2013 Announcement Tomorrow.\u201d Over in her Instagram stories, she also posted the same montage, but with a frozen countdown ticker that reads \u201c19:06:42.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn the interim, Carey gave a taste of things to come. On Saturday, she posted a short snippet of new song \u201cSugar Sweet.\u201d In the clip, the pop star appears in a sparkly pink dress as she whips up some batter in the kitchen. As she adds ingredients, she sings the lyrics: \u201cI\u2019m-a keep it nice\/I\u2019m-a keep it neat\/I\u2019m-a keep it sugar\/I\u2019m-a keep it sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n
