During Clarkson\u2019s latest performance in her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the mother-daughter duo delivered a duet of \u201cHeartbeat Song\u201d from her seventh studio album, Piece by Piece.<\/em><\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLast night we had a very special guest \u2014 my daughter River Rose joined us for \u2018Heartbeat Song,’\u201d Clarkson wrote on Instagram. \u201cIt\u2019s her favorite song.\u201d River, now 11 years old, previously performed the record<\/a> with her mom in 2023. \u201cShe\u2019s been jamming to this song since she was a baby,\u201d Clarkson shared at the time. \u201cShe loves this song so much, so she was like, \u2018Can I sing this song?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tFor that performance, the pair was also joined by Clarkson\u2019s son, Remington Alexander. \u201cBoth of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas. Nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart,\u201d Clarkson said.<\/p>\n \n\tClarkson and River have become frequent collaborators over the years. In 2023, the singer recruited her daughter to appear on \u201cYou Don\u2019t Make Me Cry\u201d<\/a> from her latest album Chemistry<\/em>. <\/p>\n \n\tClarkson kicked off her latest Vegas residency earlier this month after delaying the opening<\/a> hours before her first night. \u201cThe prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice,\u201d she said. \u201cI want the shows to be perfect for y\u2019all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve. The show is truly incredible. The musicians and singers are outstanding, and I want us all to start out strong.\u201d<\/p>\n
