\n\tThe U.K.\u2019s Channel 4 will pack two decades of success into a new, two-part documentary series, tentatively titled Taylor<\/em>. Directed by Guy King, the docuseries will explore Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s evolution during her explosive rise to the top of pop stardom, utilizing additions from a \u201crare archive\u201d and commentary from experts and fans.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cTaylor Swift is an unprecedentedly powerful 21st-century voice for women and young people,\u201d King shared in a statement, per Deadline<\/a><\/em>. \u201cUnder the microscope of social media since the earliest days of MySpace and Tumblr, she came of age during a new feminist wave. With her fame came controversy, which she so skillfully wrestled to the floor. We\u2019re excited to tell her story.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tTaylor <\/em>will be produced by Sandpaper Films, which previously helmed the feature documentaries Doom Scroll: Andrew Tate and the Dark Side of the Internet<\/em>, A Deadly American Marriage<\/em>, Investigating Diana<\/em>, and more. Jessica Brady will lead production with\u00a0Lina Caicedo as archive producer. Sandpaper Films\u2019 Susannah Price and Henry Singer will serve as executive producers. Martin Thompson will edit the two-part release.<\/p>\n \n\tRumors about the documentary series first surfaced in April 2025, weeks before Swift\u00a0gained ownership\u00a0<\/a>of her music catalog after successfully purchasing the master recordings of<\/span> her first six studio albums from Shamrock Holdings. The musician\u2019s rapidly evolving narrative makes it difficult to capture the full expanse of her career. Five years have passed since Swift released her own documentary, Miss Americana<\/em>, and everything has changed in that brief period of time.<\/p>\n
