\n\tLiam Payne<\/a> seemed to be having a lot of fun while filming Building the Band<\/em><\/a>. On Tuesday, ahead of the release of the show\u2019s final three episodes, Netflix<\/a> shared a video of Payne dancing to \u201cWhat Makes You Beautiful\u201d by One Direction with fans in the crowd. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe video shows Payne \u2014 in a peach-pink suit \u2014 singing along to the 1D classic as Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland bopped their heads nearby. He made his way through the crowd, interacting with fans and soaking in the moment. Before the clip starts, a cheeky message flashes on screen: \u201cIn loving memory of Liam Payne.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the end of the video, Payne adds, \u201cThat was so fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPayne served as a judge on the Netflix competition show, which follows music contestants as they blindly form boy bands, girl groups, and a mixed group in hopes of winning $500,000. In the final half of the show, Payne offered guidance and feedback to the groups as they navigate their journeys. Netflix is set to release the final three episodes on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen the first few episodes of the show aired, Netflix included a tribute to Payne at the beginning of the first episode. \u201cWhen we came together to film\u00a0Building the Band<\/em>, we never imagined we\u2019d soon be saying goodbye to our friend\u00a0Liam Payne,\u201d McLean said at the beginning of the episode. \u201cLiam is a guest judge in later episodes, and through his presence, we see his deep love for music and his unwavering commitment to helping others find their voice. It\u2019s through that spirit that we dedicate this series to Liam and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor a Rolling Stone<\/em> investigation<\/a> into the singer\u2019s death earlier this year, McLean shared <\/em><\/a>that he \u201cimmediately connected\u201d with Payne on \u201cnot only a music level but a human level.\u201d They spent hours together for weeks at a time while filming the show. \u201cWe both were living a parallel life,\u201d he said. \u201cThere was a lot of funny boy-band jabs that we would take at each other. He really had a quick wit to him \u2014 that nice, dry, British humor.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
