Jake E. Lee<\/a> revealed a personal message he recently received from late Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>.<\/p>\n The former bandmates had lost touch over the years, but guitarist Lee took part in Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2019s final show<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n And although he only briefly reconnected with Osbourne, he reported that they\u2019d planned to rekindle their friendship soon.<\/p>\n READ MORE:\u00a0<\/strong>Why Jake E. This was a text I got from him as I was sitting in an airport headed back home two weeks ago:<\/p>\n \u201cHi jake im so sorry i couldnt spend more time with you on the weekend but it was really caotic, i would really like to see you when i eventually get back TO LA\u00a0 just to shoot the shit its been so long since we saw each other, where have are you living these days, because the last thing i herd was you were living in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n \u201cHow did the gig for you on Saturday i really hope you had fun anyway i will text you when i eventually get back to LA and we must hook up much love and respect OZZY.\u201d<\/p>\n Lee became part of Osbourne\u2019s band<\/a> in 1982 and left in 1987.\u00a0He\u2019s featured on the 1983 album\u00a0Bark at the Moon<\/em>\u00a0and the 1986 follow-up,<\/span>\u00a0The Ultimate Sin<\/em>, cowriting much of the material on both albums.<\/p>\n Bassist Bob Daisley<\/a>, who had a sometimes tense relationship with the bandleader, shared\u00a0a tribute, saying, \u201cThis is a sad day and it has brought me to tears.<\/p>\n \u201cMy condolences to everyone who you\u2019ve left behind, Ozzy.
