\n\tAre you ready to tie the knot? Lucy Dacus<\/a> has announced that she will act as the wedding officiant for fans on her upcoming tour, which kicked off July 25 in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n

\n\tDacus initially floated the idea over the weekend, suggesting she could help people wed during the Forever Is a Feeling Tour. \u201cJust thinking about how there may be many people looking to secure those rights asap for whatever reason,\u201d she wrote. \u201cOr maybe money or logistics are getting in the way \u2013 would do this for free.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe response was apparently big enough that Dacus is going ahead with the plan. Yesterday she confirmed that fans can apply to be married by her at one of the shows. \u201cI asked last week if people would be interested if I figured out how to officiate weddings from the stage and many people said yes, so we made a google form to sign up- it\u2019ll be in my bio,\u201d she wrote on Instagram. \u201cI\u2019m officiated in the U.S., only a few cities on this tour may not be possible, all the info is at the website, including how to get your marriage license by state.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe added, \u201cI can think of all sorts of reasons people may be interested in securing the rights granted through marriage (you know what I mean?), so if you\u2019ve had it in mind forever or are just recently making the decision, I will be honored to do the honors!\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDacus launched an information page<\/a> on her website with details on how fans can submit their interest and what they need to bring to the show. She noted that the process \u201cseems like it will be pretty easy,\u201d adding, \u201cYou\u2019ll just need to bring your marriage license to the box office and we\u2019ll return it by the end of the show.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Forever Is a Feeling Tour kicks off July 25 at Philadelphia\u2019s FDR Park and continues through September. It includes stops at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta and two editions of All Things Go Music Festival<\/a> in Queens, New York and Columbia, Maryland. Dacus released her most recent album, Forever Is a Feeling<\/a><\/em>, earlier this year. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
