The tour has a tongue-in-cheek reference to the yearslong legal battle: The Name Stays Tour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThe OMG Girlz never stopped being \u2018OMG.\u2019 We have always been sisters and have relished every opportunity to work together,\u201d the group tells <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>. \u201cWe shifted gears for a bit to focus on our personal lives\u2014including motherhood and exploring our creativity as individual artists, but we always planned on making music together again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tZonnique \u201cStar\u201d Pullins, Bahja \u201cBeauty\u201d Rodriguez, and Breaunna \u201cBabydoll\u201d Womack will kick off their four-night run on Aug. 30 with a show in Atlanta, before stopping in New York City, D.C, and Dallas. Tickets are on sale now. The tour marks their live comeback after dropping a pair of singles, \u201cMake a Scene\u201d in March and \u201cTea\u201d last week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe group says that the fight for their brand and intellectual property in court allowed the group time to \u201cre-record some of our old music\u201d and record new songs as well. \u201cWe are so grateful to Tip and Tiny for helping us keep this dream alive, and for all of the love and resources they have and continue to pour into our creative endeavors,\u201d the trio says of the Harrises. (Star is the daughter of Tiny.) \u201cWe are excited to paint ATL, Dallas, NYC, and DC pink, purple, and blue!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLast September, T.I. and Tiny were originally awarded $71.4 million in damages from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/mga-entertainment\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mga-entertainment\" data-tag=\"mga-entertainment\">MGA Entertainment<\/a>, the toy company behind L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls. The couple had filed a first lawsuit in 2021, alleging that MGA copied the image and likeness of the OMG Girlz \u2014 the pop-R&amp;B group they formed in 2009 and disbanded in 2015 \u2014 for a handful of dolls launched in 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tMGA challenged the outcome of the lawsuit this year, calling the punitive damages given \u201cconstitutionally excessive.\u201d A judge<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ti-tiny-harris-omg-girls-doll-award-slashed-1235381734\/\"> slashed<\/a>\u00a0the $53.6 million punitive award down to $1 while leaving the $17.9 million award for compensatory damages in place.
