Last month, Animal Collective<\/a> digitally released \u201cLove on the Big Screen<\/a>,\u201d and they\u2019ve now shared its B-Side. Today\u2019s new song, \u201cBuddies on the Blackboard<\/a>,\u201d is a psychedelic daydream set to a dub beat. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove on the Big Screen\u201d and \u201cBuddies on the Blackboard\u201d will be released together on a 7″ vinyl single<\/a> that\u2019s out on August 1 via Domino<\/a>. Both tracks were produced by Avey Tare<\/a> and Drop of Sun Studios<\/a> founder Adam McDaniel. They were also mixed and engineered by McDaniel, while the mastering was done by Dave Cooley.<\/p>\n

Animal Collective\u2019s most recent studio album, Isn\u2019t It Now?<\/em><\/a>, came out in 2023, while the band\u2019s Panda Bear<\/a> put out his own solo LP, Sinister Grift<\/em><\/a>, this past March.<\/p>\n
