Osbourne died<\/a> last week at the age of 76, sparking tributes<\/a> from throughout the music world: Green Day played a snippet of Black Sabbath\u2019s \u201cIron Man\u201d onstage to thank Osbourne, Alice Cooper and his band sang Sabbath\u2019s \u201cParanoid,\u201d and artists from Pearl Jam to Metallica posted remembrances.<\/p>\n \n\tCarrie Underwood<\/a> was also a fan of Osbourne, and of heavy metal music<\/a> in general.
