\n\tMadonna<\/a> has shared a three-track digital re-release of her 1985 single \u201cDress You Up.\u201d Released for the dance-pop song\u2019s 40th anniversary, the digital edition features a remixed version, the 12\u2033 formal mix of the track, and an instrumental mix. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDress You Up\u201d was the final single off Madonna\u2019s LP, Like a Virgin<\/em>. The song, produced by Nile Rodgers, was initially released on July 31, 1985. Listen here<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\tIn a press release, Madonna dedicated the re-release to Barbie designers Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, who died in a car crash in Italy earlier this week. \u201cWith the tragic news this week of the passing of the doll designers and Madonna superfans Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, we dedicate this release to them,\u201d the press released noted. \u201cThank you for dressing up so many of your creations in Madonna iconic looks over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tLast week, Madonna released<\/a> her long-shelved\u00a0Ray of Light<\/em>\u00a0remix album,\u00a0Veronica Electronica<\/em>, nearly 27 years after the companion LP was first sidelined. Veronica Electronica<\/em> features seven\u00a0Ray of Light<\/em>-era remixes from late Nineties powerhouse producers like Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone, plus the original demo of \u201cGone, Gone, Gone,\u201d an unreleased track co-produced by Rick Nowels from the\u00a0Ray of Light<\/em>\u00a0sessions.<\/p>\n \n\tMadonna\u2019s most recent studio album,\u00a0Madame X<\/em>, arrived in 2019; the now-six-year gap between albums is the longest of Madonna\u2019s career.<\/p>\n \n\tThe singer is currently working with filmmaker Shawn Levy to develop a limited series at\u00a0Netflix. It\u2019s unclear what period of Madonna\u2019s career the television series will focus on, although she has previously hinted at her long-awaited biopic being turned into a TV series. Recently, actress Julia Garner confirmed<\/a> she is still on track to portray Madonna the biopic. <\/p>\n
