As the shows at the Golden Gate Park mark the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/grateful-dead\/\" id=\"auto-tag_grateful-dead\" data-tag=\"grateful-dead\">Grateful Dead<\/a>\u2019s 60th anniversary, Garcia was also remembered as his daughter Trixie appeared onstage to introduce Dead and Company, t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/entertainment\/article\/dead-and-company-grateful-dead-20796952.php\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">he <em>San Francisco Chronicle<\/em> reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBilly Strings, who opened the show Friday, later joined Dead and Company on \u201cWharf Rat\u201d:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dead and Company ft. And that was the intriguing prospect.\u2026 I think you need somebody holding down the bottom. Phil had all kinds of ideas that were pretty much unique to him. I grew up with Phil holding down the bottom in his unique way,\u201d Weir said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe added: \u201cI suppose I could go back out. I wouldn\u2019t put anybody in his place, so it would be a trio at this point. It\u2019d be me and two drummers. I\u2019d have to think about that.
