\n\tMachine Gun Kelly<\/a> nearly had a role in Sinners<\/a><\/em>, but he ultimately chose to pass on the box office hit <\/a>because he didn\u2019t want to use a racial slur. MGK<\/a> made the revelation during his appearance on ESPN\u2019s The Pat McAfee Show<\/em> over the weekend, sharing he had auditioned for the Ryan Coogler film.<\/a><\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLike\u00a0Sinners<\/em>, I was supposed to be in that,\u201d MGK said. \u201cThe vampire, they had me set up to do the audition. It\u2019s the one that\u2019s in the house, so he\u2019s the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and he eats the family up. In the audition, he has to say the \u2018n-word\u2019 and I wouldn\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe character MGK refers to is Bert, a KKK member and husband to Joan, played by Lola Kirke.
