Your understanding and support are very much appreciated as always.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThey added, \u201cAs we cannot currently project replacement dates, refunds will be available at point of purchase.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe Jesus Lizard currently have no other scheduled shows apart from the now-cancelled dates. The band last played in Australia and New Zealand in 1998, and in Japan in 1996. They have been on the road consistently since last December following the release of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/the-jesus-lizard-new-album-rack-1235033505\/\">Rack<\/a><\/em>, their first new LP in 26 years, including performances at Primavera Festival in Porto and Barcelona. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t<em>Rack<\/em>, released last September via Ipecac Records, found the band\u2019s classic lineup of singer David Yow, guitarist Duane Denison, drummer Mac McNeilly, and bassist David Wm. Sims reuniting in the studio for the first time since 1998\u2019s\u00a0<em>Blue<\/em>. I said, \u2018Well, what do you want to do with this?\u2019 They said, \u2018Let\u2019s make a record.\u2019 So we thought, \u2018What the fuck?\u2019 I mean, it seems\u00a0<em>weird<\/em>. Any kind of reenactment or reunion stuff is weird.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tHe added, \u201cWe broke up in \u201999, and then in 2009 we did some touring around the world, and then a few years later did some more. I don\u2019t even know how to articulate this, but it\u2019s sort of like fucking an old girlfriend. I love the other guys in the band, and getting to play with them again is an honor and fun.
