Diddy<\/a> has again been denied bail as he awaits sentencing for his conviction of engaging in transportation for prostitution.<\/p>\n

In his highly publicized trial last month, the music mogul was acquitted of the most serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering while being convicted of the lesser offence.<\/p>\n

Each count carries up to 10 years in prison but the judge will decide his sentence in early October with Diddy already spending 11 months behind bars since his arrest last September.<\/p>\n

Since the trial, Diddy has made bids for bail, each of which have been denied by the judge who claims the record executive had failed to prove there are \u201cexceptional\u201d reasons for why he should be released.<\/p>\n

Diddy\u2019s history of domestic violence was also cited in the reasoning behind denying him bail.<\/p>\n

Diddy and his legal team are yet to comment on their latest failed bond attempt.<\/p>\n

One person who did support the rapper\u2019s release was an ex-girlfriend by the name of Virginia Huynh<\/a>, who was originally supposed to be a witness in the trial when she was only referred to as \u201cVictim-3\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a letter to the judge, Huynh said he should be allowed bail to \u201callow him to continue caring for his family and fulfilling his responsibilities while still subject to the Court\u2019s supervision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Huynh also detailed her relationship with Diddy: \u201cOur relationship, like many, was not always perfect, we experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made but he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cOver the years that followed, he made visible efforts to become a better person and to address the harm he had caused. By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n

Huynh concluded by saying: \u201cThroughout the investigation and proceedings, he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant. He has substantial ties to his family and community, including children who depend on him for emotional and financial support. Allowing him to be at home will also support the healing process for all involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
