Nick Cave<\/a> and Warren Ellis<\/a> will score the forthcoming TV adaptation<\/a> of Cave\u2019s book The Death of Bunny Munro<\/em>. Matt Smith produces and stars in the new, six-part Sky Original<\/a> series, which comes to streaming later this year. No air date has been announced, but a preview, with two episode screenings and a conversation with Cave and Smith, will take place during the London Literature Festival<\/a> at Southbank Centre\u2019s Royal Festival Hall on October 30.<\/p>\n

Smith\u2014the star of House of the Dragon<\/em>, Doctor Who<\/em>, and The Crown<\/em>\u2014plays the titular role of a door-to-door salesman who goes on a debauched road trip with his young son while dealing with both sex addiction and his wife\u2019s suicide. Writer Pete Jackson adapted the book, with Isabella Ekl\u00f6f directing.<\/p>\n

Cave and Ellis recorded the score in London with go-to engineer Luis Almau. Their recent work includes last year\u2019s Amy Winehouse biopic<\/a> score and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds<\/a> album Wild God<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
