Ela Minus<\/a> has tapped Nick Le\u00f3n<\/a> to remix \u201cQQQQ<\/a>,\u201d from her latest album, D\u00eda<\/em><\/a>. Two reworks courtesy of the Miami producer\u2014an \u201cApocalypto Mix\u201d and extended club mix\u2014appear on a new EP, alongside Minus\u2019 own club and live edits of the track. It\u2019s the first time I’ve had so much input on a remix of my music,\u201d Ela Minus said in a press statement. \u201cWe were sending versions back and forth. Two came out of the process: a straight-on extended club mix (which the original was always calling for) and then a beatless version which we called \u2018Apocalypto remix.\u2019 I\u2019ve also recorded a live version of the song. After playing it live, the shows ignited something new in it, or in me when I play it, so I recorded a new live version included in this EP.\u201d<\/p>\n Minus shared D\u00eda<\/em> in January. She also appeared on the single \u201cGhost Orchid<\/a>\u201d, from Le\u00f3n\u2019s great new album, A Tropical Entropy<\/em><\/a>. This autumn, Minus will play a brief run of North American shows.
