The new 10-episode season \u2014 its 14th \u2014 is streaming now on Hulu and catches up with the Hill family in a vastly different America.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tStrings\u2019 bluegrass makeover of the song, originally recorded by the Refreshments and titled \u201cYahoos and Triangles,\u201d plays over the show\u2019s closing credits. Strings gets an assist from his band, along with some additional musicians. Bassist Royal Masat, fiddle player Alex Hargreaves, mandolinist Jarrod Walker, and banjo player Billy Failing, who back Strings on tour and in the studio, join Jamie Dick on drums, Russ Carons on banjo, and Billy Contreras on fiddle. The Refreshments, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/roger-clyne-peacemakers-circus-mexicus-festival-border-1235342002\/\">fronted by Roger Clyne<\/a>, split up the following year, with Clyne forming his band the Peacemakers in 1999.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t<em>King of the Hill<\/em>\u2019s new season brings Hank Hill, his wife Peggy, and their irreverent son Bobby \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3oukJqNY45w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cThat boy ain\u2019t right\u201d<\/a> \u2014\u00a0 into a climate that is culturally and politically different from the one the family inhabited during the show\u2019s initial run from 1997 to 2009. But the focus, showrunner Saladin K. Patterson told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>, is still on universal stories of family. \u201cIt\u2019s the small, relatable family stories,\u201d Patterson says. \u201cFocus on Hank representing that sensible middle with cultural commentary, not political commentary.
