Big Thief<\/a> have shared two more songs from Double Infinity<\/em><\/a>, their upcoming studio album. \u201cLos Angeles\u201d and the Laraaji<\/a>-featuring \u201cGrandmother\u201d are about the lovers-to-friends path and the realities of generational love and pain, respectively. The latter was the first song that Big Thief wrote as a trio, following the departure<\/a> of bassist Max Oleartchik. You can listen to both songs below.<\/p>\n Double Infinity<\/em> is out September 5 via 4AD<\/a>. Recorded last winter in New York, the album ropes together all three members of Big Thief with a wide range of collaborators, including Alena Spanger, Caleb Michel, Hannah Cohen, Jon Nellen, Joshua Crumbly, June McDoom, Mikel Patrick Avery, and Mikey Buishas. It\u2019s the band\u2019s sixth studio LP and the follow-up to 2022\u2019s Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Next, Big Thief will head out on tour in support of the new LP.
