It’s taken me my entire life, but I have finally<\/em> confirmed the exact perfume Dolly Parton<\/a> wears and what you’ll smell like after you hug her.<\/p>\n Carrie St. Louis, who plays Parton in the new musical Dolly: A True American Musical<\/em>, stopped by Taste of Country Nights<\/em><\/a> to talk all things Parton, and what it’s like getting to play her while the real\u00a0icon looks on.<\/p>\n We had a burning question that we have been dying to know for a long time: What does Dolly smell<\/em> like?<\/p>\n St. Louis perked up and revealed:<\/p>\n “She smells very distinct and when you hug her, once you walk away, you will smell like her for the rest of the day.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n We had to know more.<\/p>\n “I will sometimes see other actors and I’ll be like, ‘Did you just hug Dolly Parton?’ and they’re like, ‘Yeah.'”<\/p>\n She can tell just by smelling her peers!<\/p>\n “She has a line of perfumes and they are her smells,” the actress explains.
