Most of the leaks aren\u2019t real versions anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baby then revealed: \u201cI\u2019m then gonna release another album four weeks after that.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Lil Baby announces he will be dropping another album 4 weeks after his new album \u2018The Leak$\u2019 \ud83d\udea8<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uNcJCmVz8J\">pic.twitter.com\/uNcJCmVz8J<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kurrco (@Kurrco) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Kurrco\/status\/1954391829287240089?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 10, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The rapper had previously announced that he had <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/lil-baby-cancels-dominique-album-the-leaks\/\">cancelled his already announced album <em>Dominique<\/em> in favor of <em>The Leak$<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Instagram, Baby posted a date that is this Friday (15 August) as well as a picture of a whiteboard for a project clearly titled <em>The Leak$<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>There are 17 songs on the tracklist and also seemingly features from Playboi Carti, Skooly and Veeze.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year,\u00a0<a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/lil-baby-hits-out-at-song-leaks\/\">Baby hit out at his music being released online without his permission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlanta rapper wrote: \u201cDamn yall just gone keep leaking my songs !!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baby previously said that the album would show a different, more personal side of his persona.<\/p>\n<p>He explained: \u201cJust more heartfelt and more direct with talking about certain subjects. I just was damn near warming up again [on WHAM], and Dominique is more strategic. Dominique is more of a grown sound. Lil Baby is something I created. But I kind of grew out of that stage. WHAM is [a persona] I created, and Dominique is [a persona] I created.\u00a0<em>WHAM<\/em>\u00a0is in the middle of Lil Baby and\u00a0<em>Dominique<\/em>. So\u00a0<em>Dominique<\/em>\u00a0going to be like the more 30-year-old me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baby added: \u201cI initially was going [to drop] the self-titled album [first], but I had to backtrack because even though I\u2019ve grown and I had a dramatic change, I ain\u2019t really bring the fans along with me. So they don\u2019t really know what I went through or what I\u2019m going through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDum, Dumb and Dumber\u201d star continued: \u201cSo to just go from Lil Baby to\u00a0<em>Dominique<\/em>, I feel like that would\u2019ve been too big of a jump for them. So I had to come back and tighten it up a little bit and ease their way into it.
